It sucks that it happens, but sometimes you might need to return an item. It’s life. Some companies provide you with a very in-depth, painstakingly long Return Policy for you to read. We’ve seen some that even require you to hire a lawyer….sheeesh!
With us, things are simple! Almost every item can be eligible for return and refund within 30 days of delivery.
However, we have added a Section below, called Refund Exceptions, that talks about what products and scenarios don’t meet the requirements for a refund. Although we’d love to see everyone happy with money in their pockets, it won’t be fair for Sellers if each had to automatically comply with a Refund, even in situations where a Buyer knowingly destroys a product and requests a Refund. Hence…the Return Policy.
Nevertheless, regardless of the type of item, if the item arrives and it is defective, damaged, or incorrect, it is eligible for a refund, but it may need to be returned.
The Return Process
In order to start the return process, please go to your product Purchase Order to start the refund, and in the Purchase Order, click the Return button to start the refund process.
From there, follow the on-screen instructions to create a Refund Request.
The Return Basics
If the item does not qualify for the Return Exception, you may request a refund within 30 days of delivery.
If for some reason your item does not arrive at your designated location, you may create a refund request within 30 days of the last estimated delivery date. In the situation where the Seller notifies in advance that there will be delivery delays, for any force majeure-related reason, then we may ask you to wait an additional 15 days, after the estimated delivery date, for the product to be delivered.
In instances, such as, defective, damaged, or incorrect items, you may need to provide proof of the problem, such as a photo and explanation. Please note that in most cases, the product cannot be intentionally opened and used by you. An example of this scenario would be the purchase and use of a vitamin or supplement before a refund request.
In instances with more expensive items (including expensive items that come with a defect, damage, or incorrect item), you may need to return the item to receive the refund.
If you need to return an item, depending on your location and depending on what delivery carrier you use, you may be responsible for paying the return shipping cost.
Depending on your financial institution, a refund may take up to 14 days to be credited to your original payment method.
If a refund is possible, the refund will be processed after the item has been returned to the appropriate destination and confirmed to be in good condition.
8-HOUR ORDER CANCELLATION
Most items are subject to cancellation within 8 hours, without penalty. You have up to 8 hours after making a purchase to cancel your order. After this time period, you will not be able to cancel your order.
CANCELLATION OF 2-DAY DELIVERY ORDERS
Items that are scheduled for 2-day delivery have a shorter cancellation window. For these items, you have up to 1 hour after purchase to cancel your order.
WINDOW OF CANCELLATION
Once an Order Cancellation window has passed, the order execution starts, including delivery in some cases. Therefore, after the order cancellation window is closed, we do not accept requests for a refund or return of the product until the expected delivery date is reached or the product has been delivered.
Return and Refund Exceptions
In the absence of special circumstances, the following items are non-refundable:
- End-of-sale items, such as items marked “final sale”, used and/or refurbished items. Final Sale items are marked as such on their Product Listing pages. Final Sale items cannot be returned and are non-refundable.
- Household items such as cleaning products, dishwasher fluid, detergent, and more are non-refundable.
- Perishable items such as food, pet food, beverages, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and CBD/Hemp edibles are non-refundable.
- Personal hygiene items such as CBD/Hemp tinctures, toothpaste, shampoos, deodorants, feminine hygiene products, and soaps are non-refundable.
- Goods or services that are subject to international, federal, and domestic trade policies.
Some Sellers process questions, refunds, or returns according to their own policies, but if there is a situation that you can’t solve with the Seller, in accordance with their policy, you can let us know about the problem and we will try to solve it with you.
When receiving a refund from CannaSOS.Shop, you may choose to either: 1) receive the refund back on to your CannaSOS.Shop account as Credit (which you can then spend on purchasing another item) or 2) we can refund back the payment amount to your original payment account.
CannaSOS.Shop Credit is available instantaneously in your account, allowing you to purchase any good, including the same good just from another brand.
Refunds to your original payment method will be processed by your financial institution within 14 calendar days. CannaSOS.Shop Credit never expires (unless otherwise noted) and will be available to use towards any future purchasing.
